Just wanted to say again how much I love this story - the descriptions of the aurora are so beautiful, its hard to believe you've never had the chance to see it for yourself. My sisters get a fair number since they both live further north than me, and the best one I've ever seen was at a star party in Northern Ontario.
Beyond the amazing description of the aurora, I loved how you used it as a metaphor for Clark and Lex reconnecting. I love the casual way Clark admits what Lex has known for so long, and Lex grudgingly admitting to himself that some of Clark's suspicions were justified. From such small admissions, bigger opportunities have the chance to grow.
