I... actually didn't realize how angsty it was going to be for the readers. Oops. ^^; I'm so familiar with Conner and the clone's back-story myself that for me the new part was really exploring his reaction to Clark's acceptance of him. But of course, Conner is feeling all of it, so I wrote all of it, including the pain. Didn't realize for the readers there would be more of the angst. Sorry about that!
