Oh, I know! Okay for the 1940s and 50s when there wasn't so much chance of it all, but nowadays... {sigh} One can over-do the realism when writing about fantasy, but when they ignore even the *basics* it drives me buggy. Masks off in stakeouts... if you can't see out of the masks, why did you design them that poorly?! And name-dropping is just bad all around.
Poor Conner is going to have a harder time with the security stuff than any of the rest of it. ;p But Hope and Mercy will be there to knock him into it. ^^ (And Nightwing.)
