One thing I have to say about your Lex he stays totally calm and in control even when things around him are falling apart.
I totally adore this line: Twilight was, after all, the time for it. When light met dark and he and Superman could exist together. That whole scene on the balcony painted quite the picture of them together. Lovely visual.
Wow the way you have the the two of them talk this out and work through the past was just perfect. Lex's understanding and the forgiveness wow it is all very powerful and works so well. I loved that clark called his mom to talk this over and the fact that Lex would leave his daughter to Martha shows how much that woman effected both of their lives.
I like the ending too. Full of hope. Lovely! Well done.
