This is amazing! So sad, and yet hopeful - my favorite kind of angst.:) God, this scene should have been on the show!! And it's really great to see Jonathan admitting that what Lex did was admirable. Canon!Jonathan told Lex that Lex hadn't given him any reason to see past his last name, and I just couldn't believe it. Sacrificing yourself for a bunch of schoolkids is not considered brave enough these days?
