Summary: Clark wants Lex to expand his holdings.

"You want me to what?" Lex was used to odd requests from Clark, but this was definitely different.

Clark flushed. "Buy a mint farm. Otherwise they'll be evicted and it's been in their family forever!"

"A MINT farm."

"Well, how else does it get in the stores?!" Clark snapped.

Okay, things were serious if Clark was getting annoyed. But still. "A mint farm."

"You could always buy the drams instead - if they sell enough peppermint drams, they'll have enough money to save the farm."

Lex sighed and wondered what he was going to do with all the mint oil.

"Oh God, Lex!" Clark howled as his skin went from shivering to hot to tingling in the same instant of the brush of fingers.

Lex chuckled and leaned in to lick at the skin he'd just anointed. This produced more noises from Clark.

Lex moved to the other side and repeated the process.

"Oh God!" Clark's hands tore through the sheets and he dug deeper for something to hold. He thrashed and then settled, his skin gleaming in the light.

Lex eyed his ultimate target and got out a fresh vial of peppermint oil. "25 down... 4,975 left to go."

... ... I should say, probably not a good idea to lick straight mint oil without it being mixed in something else. That said... {goes back to watching the boys}

That's too bad about the mint farm. If Clark and Lex were real, it totally would have been saved once Clark asked Lex to step in.

Um...Guh! Lex's quick powers of healng protect him from the straight peppermint oil, I'm sure.

I know. I still have a lot of mint drams sitting in my drawer from my attempt, but I'm only one person. Lex would have totally done it for Clark, he would have!

Okay, Clark trying to get Lex to buy a mint farm? *snorffles* And Lex going along with it? Not a surprise at all.

But their use? Hee. Five thousand vials of peppermint oil. Wow. That's... a lot of fun to be had.

I wasn't originally going to go there. I was going to be strong and resist... and then I went there. Lex has a lot of oil to use! {Clark doesn't mind ^^}

LOL! That was so funny, though its sad to think the farm that was the inspiration didn't have Lex to step in. I just imagine the two of them coming up with all kinds of different uses for their excess peppermint.

Yeah, I was kindof hoping they would make it. But I hope it's resold as a mint farm and continues the tradition (only with better financial care). A world without mint would be a sad world indeed!

I bet half the drams went to Martha for baking. ;D Mint cookies, mint pie, mint ice cream, mint chocolate, mint... ;D

LOL. Loved Clark getting annoyed, even though Lex had every right to be shocked. Hee. And then Lex getting back at Clark by putting the mint to good use. LOL. Loved it.

Hee - we've heard of flower farms, and corn farms, and pig farms... but mint farms? I'm sure Lionel would be just as shocked if that went over his desk. "LuthorCorp acquired a what?"

And yes, watching the boys with all their mint oil is a very delightful process. ^^ We'll just keep that on repeat for awhile. ;D

Thanks! :) I have been a bit amused that the type of products the Mint Company sells has been expanding - originally it was just the drams. I suspect somebody offered to join in the entrepreneurship and diversify to encourage more buyers. After Lex gets through his 5000 drams, he's probably going to suggest some more products they could add to the list... ;D
