Icons, Clex, Clark, and Lex (plus Kara, Jonathan, Martha, and Spike)

Stories were being a pain so I switched to playing around with icons a bit. Have a few Clex and Lex icons. ^_^ Not a lot this time (I found some older ones I hadn't posted before...), but hey, it's something.

edit - oh, um,... I found a few older ones I'd never actually posted anywhere before. ^^; So including them in with this batch. For various Icon Community contests: lexicontest, smvl_icontest, remote_stills, must_betuesday. I forget which won awards or not - I think a couple of the Kara ones did.

You have some marvelous ones here - such a variety. Especially in the Clexy ones. I noticed the painful ones - regret was really hard, but there were also sweet ones, and a sexy one or three. *g*

I loved seeing the ones of Jonathan, too. I might not have liked how he was written (pretty much the story of SV for me), but he is a damn sexy man.

I loved the airbrush or whatever the effect is in the Clexy 'Oh My' one.

Wonderful job. I'll have to come back tomorrow and kife a couple. I will credit, of course.

Thanks! :) The second half were from icon contests, so that's why more of the different characters including Jonathan. Expand my horizons. ^^

I like to try different things with the icons, stretch the techniques. Some work and some don't, lol. And yeah, the sad ones... that look on Clark's face after the hug in Asylum/Shattered just really needed iconning paired with what he had done in not rescuing Lex. o.O And after that I needed the sweet and sexy just for the balance. ^_^

{snicker} The effect in the Clexy 'Oh My' is actually... {pauses for drama} cat fur. I made a pack of cat fur textures (http://tallihensia.livejournal.com/76808.html) awhile back from photos of my kitties. Only, ah, looks like I never re-uploaded the file after the website kurflunkle. I'll try and remember to do that later. Here's a couple from that pack (I'd have to poke at the file to figure out which one I actually used for that icon):

Very, very beautiful hon. I like the effects you used on these. And I adore the fading/blending whatever for #1 and 2.

Thank you! :) And thanks for pointing out the spelling error, lol. Fixed now. ;D Effects are mostly texturing and gradients. The 1/2/3 was a combination of fading, blending, and a light gradient to help it along. I'm happy that you like them! :)
