Thank you! ^^ The cycle needed to be broken... Clark was in a pattern that's really easy to see from the outside, but he was in it and couldn't see it himself. It's also hard to see the poor kid being so very terrified like that... and just letting it happen. He's not a hero yet, but man, it really is hard to see him reacting like that when we know it's not right.
