Happy ending? How can there possibly be a happy ending when Lex-the-villain is back in the world again and Joe is gone and Superman has lost again...? It's the Twilight Zone! We don't get to find out if there are happy endings or not. ... Um, yeah. Not saying anything here. Nope, lips are sealed. :) (Though I might point out that it's only Lex that thinks Joe was a construct overlay... and he probably didn't make any plans to wipe it entirely since *he* didn't think it was real.)

Glad you liked it! Angst is... entirely too easy with our boys. Poor woobies. I'm glad I was writing fluff at the same time, because this was depressing to write. o.o
